My new exhibition, 'Spaces, Lights, Reflections,' is currently being held at Crome Architecture in San Rafael, brings together three of my new series of paintings: 'Sausalito Reflections,' 'Nocturnes,' and 'Post Pop Landscapes.' The paintings featured in this exhibition represent my research in the fields of hyper-realism, neo-impressionism, and abstract landscapes from 2019 to 2023.

As an artist, I find admiration in the ever-changing seasons and the play of light during day and night, as well as in the intricate details of living organisms, and the transformative impact of human intervention on landscapes. The artworks showcased at the 'Spaces. Lights. Reflections.' exhibition encompass water surfaces, plants, gardens, buildings, urban infrastructure, and city lights. These subjects serve as artistic spaces where I explore the interplay of colors and spatial relationships, revealing their rhythmic structures and interactions.
Art series presented at the exhibition:

Sausalito Reflections

Sausalito Reflections is my most recent series of landscapes, firmly rooted in the reality of Northern California, and celebrating the waterfront life of the Sausalito community. This series blends neo-realism and architectural painting with elements of pop art, abstract landscapes, and graphics. A homage to the timeless Californian landscapes, where modern life combines with eternal motifs of nature.
Nocturnes

A series of semi-abstract minimalistic cityscapes, dedicated to the allure of urban nights and city lights. The paintings are devoid of details and forms, leaving the viewer with only the interplay of circles of light against the background of darkness, evoking the sensation of peripheral vision or a defocused gaze, visualizing the music of the city at night.

Post-Pop Landscapes and Landscape Studies

Modern landscape series, a fusion of photo realism and elements of pop art, abstraction, and naive-idealist art. Inspired by David Hockney and Wayne Thiebaud, these works infuse everyday objects with universal symbolism. The series explores the interplay between nature and human infrastructure, seeking harmony in their combinations.
